Millionaire Quit Microsoft To Educate Africa’s Future Leaders! by Starting Asheshi University

Patrick Awuah quit a highly lucrative job with tech giant Microsoft in the United States, where he made a good living working as a program manager, Patrick Awuah wasnt sure he was happy doing what he was doing then.


Something changed in Awuah when he read the words of Goethe, “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it — begin it now.”

Awuah wanted to contribute towards the development in Africa so he would build a university. The University would be a state-of-the-art education hub that would help educate the country’s next generation of leaders.

His mind made up he moved to Ghana to start Asheshi University .
“Africa needs to have a renaissance,” says Awuah, as he explains what drove him to take the risky decision. Check the video out.
